Seraphim Spotlight: Eve — Where the Supernatural Began
October belongs to Eve: Seraphim’s first vampire and first supernatural character, with a deliberately chosen Halloween birthday.

Message from Echo
For our first Seraphim Spotlight, October belongs to Eve.
She was my first vampire—and my first supernatural character. When I chose October 31 as her birthday, it was deliberate. Halloween felt like the right date for the woman who opened that door in Seraphim.
So this month, I want to return to where that part of our world began.
The first step into the shadows
Eve gave me a new kind of story to tell. With her, Seraphim could reach beyond the everyday and into a world of vampires, ancient connections, dangerous rivalries, and love that carries its own complications.
The supernatural side of Seraphim has grown since then, but Eve will always hold that first place. Before there was a wider world to explore, there was her.
A birthday made for October
October 31 is more than a seasonal detail in Eve’s biography. I chose it as part of who she is: a birthday on Halloween for my first vampire.
With October’s vampire theme underway, this is the perfect time to spend a little longer with her—to see the character behind the image, and remember the beginning of a world that is still growing.
More than a vampire
The supernatural is part of Eve’s appeal, but the relationships around her are what give her story its heart. Her connection to Valeria, her love for Ashina, and her rivalry with Gia offer different ways into her world.
If you have only met Eve through a passing image, this month’s Spotlight is an invitation to look a little closer.
A glimpse into Private Diaries
Some moments belong beyond the public page. Private Diaries is where Seraphim’s more intimate stories continue. Our newsletter previews will stay safe for your inbox, with the full content available on the site to members of that tier.
Get to know her more
Explore Seraphim’s characters and available stories. Codex & Lore brings you worldbuilding, backstories, relationships, and non-explicit intimacy; Private Diaries takes those stories further.
Thank you for being here as Echo and Sandrine keep building this world. Between our monthly Spotlights, our weekly letters will bring you new art, stories, and a look behind the scenes.
